Triplet
Focusing on the unit of genetic code called Triplet in biology, this project attempts to expand the concept of this code to include cities, organisms, music, images, and social phenomena.
Using Chichibugahama beach in Mitoyo City, Kagawa Prefecture as a site, a 10-meter screen was set up in the sea, and 8K video and sound were output from the beach to the sea.
The rising and falling tides, the underwater topography exposed by the tides, and natural elements such as the setting sun, clouds, and wind. By obscuring the boundary between these elements and the visual audio installation, I challenged myself to create an installation that would allow viewers to feel the existence of a language for describing phenomena common to both natural and artificial objects.
