Governing Equation (For Alan and Keith)
On the morning of the exhibit set-up, I unusually woke up at the crack of dawn. I had quite a bit of time before breakfast, so I took a walk in the forest adjacent to the Keith Haring Museum. I was able to capture many patterns on my smartphone during my hour-long walk.
Scientists have attempted to describe nature through mathematics. In physics, they are called Governing Equations. As Galilei said, "The book of the universe is written in the language of mathematics.
Those who have programmed some governing equations will see the output of the software overlap with the natural landscape, and will be able to see nature at a deeper level as a system. We are the first generation to live in an era in which we can reinterpret nature through programming.
