Ocean Current Visualization

2016

Augmented Reality Visualization

We have developed Ocean Current Visualization for the Geo-Prism system of Mirakan. Geo-prism is the new augmented reality system for Geo-Cosmos which is the symbol exhibit of Miraikan, produces high precision images on its sphere surface. Geo-Prism, developed by Rhizomatiks, is a framework to which new contents can be embedded. Keio SFC Wakita Lab has developed a super high resolution visualization of ocean behavior by using a set of simulation data that is calculated by JAMSTEC with their super computer, Earth Simulator.
